TEXT : PSALM 23:1-6
TOPIC: THE LORD AS MY SHEPHERD
INTRODUCTION
I. “The Lord is my shepherd” is an expression of dependence. It means that without Him we cannot exist.🎍
II. “The Lord is my shepherd” is a statement of ownership. It means God is our SOURCE.
We are His brand.🍃
III. “The Lord is my shepherd” is an admittance of a personal relationship.🍀
FOLLOWING THE SHEPHERD:🪻🪻🪻🪷
One of the greatest Experience on earth is the connection to the Shepherd of our soul.
And to follow the good Shepherd is to escape the evils of life.
BENEFITS OF FOLLOWING THE SHEPHERD:🪸🪸🪸🌺
- Divine Provision (Ps. 23:1)
- Supernatural rest (Ps. 23:2): Following God genuinely is the doorway to peacefulness and restful existence.
- Divine Direction (Ps. 23:2-3): God is committed to giving you direction. In so doing, He may use any circumstance so as to pull you back when you miss direction.
- Supernatural restoration (Ps. 23:3):
- Divine protection and preservation (Ps. 23:4): If God is your Shepherd, you can enter the fire
and lion’s den and come out; robbers, witches and wizards cannot practice wickedness upon your life. - Supernatural celebration (Ps. 23:5): For some people, this January, everything you desire would have already happened.
- Supernatural Unction (Ps. 23:5): Any Oil (Anointing) you need this year to handle mountains and battles, our Shepherd is placing that Oil on your head now (Ps. 23:5)
- Divine Presence (Ps. 23:6): In 2014, follow the Shepherd, and you will have no witch, wizard or adversity to fear (Ps. 23:4)
WHAT IT TAKES FOR GOD TO BE YOUR SHEPHERD:🌷🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹🌹
- Be His sheep: In 2024, make up your mind to be God’s sheep and sheep connotes submission to the authority of God.
- Be ready to follow: Come to the point where you hand over everything about your life to God. Be ready to follow His will, plan and dictates to you. When at that point, He will be your Shepherd.
- Follow the path of righteousness
- Maintain faith in the Shepherd PRAYERS🍄🍄🍄
